Getting Ready for Next Week

The end of the month is always so frantic feeling.  There are certain stations that I just change out once a month.  So before I left school today I set up my writing station.
I also set up my Super Sentences.  I grabbed a few student examples to show you from last month's unit.
I also set up our poem.  Last week we worked on dental health, so this upcoming week we will work on the human body.  This is part of the March Poetry Unit.
I love this sweet book that is in our listening station for next week.  I do not use headphones for this station.  The students just listen to it on a regular CD player,  The color codes are just stickers that I put on the buttons to help them work independently.

There are just a few hours left in TpT BIG SALE!   Swoop up a few bargains before your "date night."   My date night will consist of watching the final episode of Downton Abbey.  I was unable to watch it last Sunday.  The season is SO short.  Sigh...

  3. I hope you were able to watch Downton. I absolutely LOVE your writing center. I MUST find a space to put mine. I didn't have the room so I gave my table away.

  4. How many books do you keep in your listening station? Last year I was able to keep a lot more than I am now. They either fight over which ones to listen to or don't clean up.

    1. They just have one option. I select the books. I am getting portable listening stations ready. Students can grab an individual book and listen to it on an iPod.

    1. They are part of my writing work station. If you click on the picture, it will take you to the unit.
