Peek at My Week Linky

This has been a busy week!   The Mr. had knee surgery (again) on Monday.

Then yesterday I took The Perfect Son to sign up for college next year!   Sniff! Sniff!

You can tell by the posting of these plans that I am 6 steps behind!   OY!

  3. Dee Dee you have been my "virtual mentor" for the past year as I have only dared to dream of creating streamlined visual lesson plans (and many hours of trial and error). Well, I am so delighted to report that thanks to your modeling, and now your screencast - I not only am on my way but I also have join the blogger world. Thanks for being my inspiration, I am a better teacher because of you. I have linked your site and your screencast to one of my first posts - please check it out and make sure I am not breaking any rules (I don't want that strict teacher voice :)

    Cheers,

  4. Congrats on your son's upcoming phase of his life! Your plans look fabulous. I will be working on oviparous animals in the near future- so I think I will need a cup of coffee or tea and sit back and explore your week. Have a great one!

  14. I just want to say I love your blog! I am a not only a new kindergarten teacher of about four months, but this is also my first year teaching. I teach part-time kindergarten so I only see my kids for three hours. I am trying to figure out how to fit everything in and was wondering if you could answer some questions for me. First, what do you feel are the most important parts of your days (i.e. word study, small groups). Also, how do you run your small groups for both math and reading/literacy? What are some activities that you do in these small groups? I would really appreciate any help you would be willing to give!

    1. Hi Alley,

That is a huge question that would be hard to answer in a few sentences. I have provided some glimpses into my schedule and how I fit it all in with my lesson plans.

How about you email me and we could arrange a conference time?
