You can see these units in Deanna Jump's store by clicking {here}

Now... my plans for the day include...adding the large "teacher cards" to my
You can get those later today at no additional charge by going to "My Purchases".

AND... I will start on the 1st grade edition...Yippee!

  2. Looks wonderful! Much better aligned than than our adopted LA series. I will be purchasing each unit when the next "big sale" comes and start this from day 1. As always, beautiful and thoughtful work.

  5. Thank you so much for this! On the last page it said to click for the list of mentor texts but I couldn't get it to work. Are they listed elsewhere?

    1. So sorry!!! I fixed the hyperlink. If you redownload the PDF you should be able to hyperlink it to Clever School Teacher where we created a mentor text list for this curriculum.

  8. Our School District is working on this now that our state will be implementing the CCSS for Language Arts next year. I will definitely like to puchase all units when you have it completed. Thank you so much for putting so much effort into making something that will benefit all students!

  9. I wish my school district would purchase your writing units! I might have to implement it in my own classroom! I just love all of your work and it helps make my job a little easier. YOu may have blogged about this and I couldn't find it but I am curious to know what you use for language arts/reading? My school district uses Scott Forseman but is really outdated. Do you have a series or use something else?

    1. Hi Danielle, We use Fundations for phonics. I use my Word Explorer's for word study activities. We use guided reading (no series) for reading. I also love Kim Adsit's readers workshop units.

  11. Thank for this resource! I've already purchased Units 1-5, and they have seriously transformed my kids writing this year! This is the best writing that has been produced all the years I have been teaching. Are you really going to do a 1st grade curriculum as well? The first grade teacher in my school has been drooling over this curriculum, and has been trying to find ways to adapt it for her class. Would this be a summer project for you guys?

  12. This looks amazing! I can't wait to try it with my little ones. One thing when I try to click on the google doc link it says that it can't be found or may have been deleted. Is there a way you can fix that? Thanks!
