Peek at my Week-Celebrating Reading!

Last week was a blast.  We ended up having a little extra time (NEVER happens) so we read Love, Splat and my class did these activities. These are from Cara Carroll's adorable unit!

Now, 19 of them turned out THIS cute!

but then ...

Someone was just not feeling it!

Onward...!

Don't look at the clock!  Don't look at the calendar!  I am so VERY behind!

I was finishing this unit today to help us Celebrate Reading this week and next!

I also love Growing Kinders Unit, so I added a bunch of her activities to my week!

Here are my lesson plans for this week!

Have a great week!

  4. I have an artist just like yours. It makes me chuckle but know that art is really difficult for my kiddo. I just wish I had more time for it.

  6. I so need to share one of my groundhog projects from the beginning of the month with you! Your little has a kindred spirit in my class. Our groundhog was upside down with ears for eyes and the little hearts became a bow. His creator pronounced his the most beautiful...the eye of the beholder and all that!

  7. I'm just glad that I am not the only one with students who can't seem to follow directions...now I know they just are not feeling it! Too funny I will use those words again.

  8. Oh my, I love that splat! Sadly, my daughter's would have looked the same in kindergarten.... She hates art & could care less about it!
