Peek at my Week-America!

This week I went to St. Louis to meet the EVER fabulous Kim Adsit!   She was conducting a seminar called DI (differentiated instruction) for the Little Guy.  I sort of expected to just sit back in her seminar and chill, but she got my brain working... BIG TIME!   She is so dang smart! If you ever want to feel like you sort of have your act together, go see one of her sessions.  She will get you thinking and help you add more precision to your practices... Love! it!

After the workshop we met up with these sweet ladies.
Back row:
Kim Adsit from Kindergals, me, Meredith from Keen on Kindergarten, Becky from Paint the Sky Green

Front row:
Katie from Little Warriors, Ashlie from Goodwill Something, and Chrissy from Read, Write, Sing.

I am also linking up with Amy to celebrate some of my loves.

My sweet baby boy who will be graduating high school this year!   Sniff!
My family who makes me proud!

I love this show and cried, cried, cried over last week's episode.   Darn your arrogance Robert!

I have a crush on Adam!... I mean Maroon 5 is a great group!

Stop by her blog to see some other Love Notes!

So... now that I am totally off task and a little flustered... here are my lesson plans for next week!

  1. Hi Deedee! I was wondering if you know what your next few units for Writer's Workshop will be on. I would like to complete my yearlong curricular plan to submit to my principal soon. I contacted Deanna but she told me you were in charge :)

    1. I am the BOSS! ha!! Our next unit will focus on zooming in on personal narratives. Then we will have a unit on writing fiction. Our final unit is on looking back and looking forward...reflecting on past writing units, revisiting, and making plans for future writing!

      I hope that helps.
