I! Have! Issues! and Giveaway alert!

First let me tell you that I AM REALLY working on the March Poetry Unit...REALLY!   Thanks to Mother Nature, I (as if I am the only one)  have been given another snow day... can I get a hallelujah?

I am super excited because THE Ashley Hughes is making a graphic set for one of the poem sets!  Yippee!   So, that poetry unit should be up today or tomorrow (thank you Great Mother AND Ashley)!!!

Here is my problem... I! Am! Addicted! to Clip Art and Fonts... Like BIG Time!  I used to think it was shoes, but now I know it's clip art (which is easier to hide from your husband... just saying).

I did not even bat an eyelash when this set came out.  I joked that I *might* have broken a finger as I rushed to purchase it (as if it would be snatched away).

These all come as JPGs and PNGs  AND you get the black-lines for them as well.
You can blink now!

Ashley is giving away a set on her blog! But hop to it... because it will be over fast!
You might also want to check out her Friday Freebies...they are always adorable (and guilt free.)

These fonts are from Cara Carroll and they me giggle!   That is all I am going to say about that!

Tech Question:   Is there a way to organize your fonts so your "favorites" come up?  I know I can delete some fonts... gasp! But system fonts {boring fonts} appear to be here to stay.

  4. I'm addicted to cute fonts and clip art, too, especially from these two ladies. I need to just forward my check to Ashley because I can't resist her stitched designs.

I googled the favorite font thing and came up with this. Hope it helps! I will be trying it later to see if it works :)

  6. Thanks so much for sharing about the giveaway! I was coveting those bundles earlier this week so I was very excited to enter the giveaways. I too am ashamed to admit my addiction to clip art, fonts, borders, and backgrounds. My hubby has no idea how much money I have invested!! HEE HEE I spent my snow day deciding which St Patty's Day stuff I wanted to buy and of course I ended up with a few extras in my cart:)

  7. So my addiction to clipart is just beginning - so dangerous! But I have a question - is there a way to organize your clipart so you know exactly what you have and where it is? I don't have too much yet, but I figured I would organize it before it gets out of control. :) Any suggestions or advice would be wonderful!

    1. I am not sure how organized I have everything, but this is what I do. I download them and organize them by themes. So my Valentine's clip art has a folder with lots of folders that have that theme... and so on for themed stuff. Then I have a folder for "frames", "papers," and "phonics". This helps me find my way around.

Then when I am looking for a specific image ...like "dog" I use the "search" box in the upper right hand corner of the window (just under the red X to exit) and it brings up all of the images that are labeled "dog" regardless of the folder they are in.

The key is making sure all the images are labeled so you can find them. Some of my older images are labeled with numbers so they don't come up in that search... oy!
