We have ours on Friday. Kindergarteners and first graders at our school will have Polar Express Day, and it's Pajama Spirit Day, too. So the whole school will be showing up in pajamas.
Hee hee...I wonder how many teachers were out buying new pajamas over the weekend??? I just bought some new Christmas jammies for our PJ day tomorrow. :) Have fun!
Yes, Mel! Usually we have a PJ day and we watch the Polar Express and have hot cocoa! Probably does not sound so fun while you all are having your "summer" weather! Maybe you could have summer PJs (vs flannel) and slushies!
Hi Deedee, We have our pajama day on Friday and our class party. I have a love/hate relationship with that day. LOL Fun for the kiddos but EXHAUSTING is so right for us teachers. I will just come home and lounge since I'm already in my pj's right?!? Have a great day - enjoy! Vicky Traditions, Laughter and Happily Ever After
That sounds like so much fun!! Too late for me this year, I will have to try for next year... I thought I saw a posting where you stated that Unit 4 for Writing through the Year would be out soon. When will it be ready for purchasing?
We had a policeman stationed at our school Friday because of a threat that was posted on Facebook. He was completely confused when all the teachers started showing up in pajamas that day!!
I love the idea of PJ day along with the movie. We watched Polar Express along with our "big buddies," our 5th grade friends. We had hot chocolate and marshmallows. Making hot chocolate for sixty kids was not an easy task, especially since I started out with crock pots. Next year, definitely going to incorporate pjs.
A quick question: which program do you use to make your book templates? I am working on some ideas but I am stuck on how to format it and should I use Word, Pages, etc....

DeleteI make almost everything in Power Point. It is really easy to manipulate the graphics.
