I promised you a freebie today so here it is.
It is only free until tonight at 10:00pm CST (because that is my bedtime.. HA!)
I work with a lady who is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to her shared reading poems. They are always super cute and her kids LOVE them.
We decided that we should pool our talents and we came up with this!
| Pretend this is in a pocket chart and not strewn on my carpet floor (which could use a little vacuum action) |
This provides activities to keep your poem going all week long. Then you can move it into your poetry station or pocket chart station.
Here are the Common Core Standards that are being addressed.
The unit has the following:

| If you miss the FREE offer you can purchase this for $2.00 |
Sorry the FREEBIE time has expired. You can still get it in my store for $2.00
UPDATE: I think I have emailed everyone. Give me a shout if I missed you or you did not get it. I saved the emails so I can find you.
Um.. BTW- How come you all don't comment this much when I offer other FREEBIES? Love ya and I want to hear your comments!!! HA!
In return for your freebie, I would LOVE to know... Is this something you would like more of?
Janet and I are thinking about collaborating on a monthly poetry unit. So each month would include 4 poems and activities similar to the one above.
BTW... I am official addicted to Hello Fonts!
You can get your free set on her blog!!!
