Peek at my Week... More Seuss

Where did the week go?

We had a whirlwind of a week and we did not get to math stations on the different days... GASP!!!  I know!  I think this is the first week where I fell off the wagon. I have to hang my head in shame!

Here are some of my photos from last week (I told you I was behind).
If you click on the images, they will take you to the source.

This is from Growing Kinders Dr. Seuss unit.
Comparing more and less from my Dr. Seuss Math unit.
Constructing 10 from my Dr. Seuss unit
 Kim Adsit's Dr. Seuss Unit
3D Shapes from my Dr. Seuss unit
 Bump using 10 Frames!
Ok... These photos are actually of our indoor recess.  We had a rainy Friday, so we usually have the kids take a game to play indoors. They can pick Legos, Trouble, Chutes and Ladders... tons of games!  My friends were clambering to get to my Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat CVC game.
And Green Eggs and Ham Roll, Say, Keep!  It makes a teacher proud!
I added my St. Patrick's Day CVC game to this week's Puzzles and Games Station.
Here are my stations for next week.  I did not change my Math Stations because we missed two days last week.  We will just keep things the same in math stations.  I have to tell myself... It! Will! Be! Okay!  Deep breath!

I will be back later today (tonight) to give you the rest of my lesson plans.

  3. thanks for the peek of your week!...i have been checking in all weekend...just for that!
i have a question about your chart that you made back in june (basically i think it is your scope and sequence to introduce words/chunks and such). Do you have some games or activities that you use to teach/practice syllable/sound deletion? In our benchmarks (not dibels...but very similar) we have a section that the kids must delete the beginning sound and then say what the new word would be...then there is also one with deleting the ending sound and say the new word.
have any ideas?...i hope you can think of something to use to practice this skill and have it for sale...i will be first in line.
