Spinning! A few updates too

I took a spinning class tonight!  UGH! Really?  Am I THAT out of shape? I'll tell you it was s-a-d! I'm fairly sure that I will need some sort of apparatus to haul myself out of bed in the morning. It should be interesting.  Anyone else struggling with their New Year's resolution?

In any event, through sheer willpower and Diet Coke I was able to climb the stairs to my computer and do a little renovation (the cyber kind).

I made these last year, but I decided to change to "trace" font to make it a little more clear.  If you purchased these last year, you can download the updates at no charge.  Just go to "My Purchases" on your TpT dashboard.

Are these new to you?  Each packet comes with 10 read, trace, glue, and draw sentences.  The same sentences are repeated in the read, write, glue, and draw version.   My kids LOVE them!

And YES!   I finished my Math Journals for February!

Must. Find. Ben-Gay!

  1. Very cute activities...and I hope you find the Ben-Gay! =)
    First Grade Blue SKies

  2. Good for you, sticking with it! I just might keel over if I tried spinning! You go!

    1. Yes, I made sure my instructor was up-to-date on her CPR card!

  3. Two words: Salon Pas!
My hubby swears by these little gems. They are like little bandages that stick where the hurt is. Love the sentences too!

    1. Do they make them in like a full body suit? Just kidding! I'm feeling okay today. I was waiting for the worse, but I think I'll make it!

  4. I follow your blog and enjoy your candidness on how things really are in K. I have worked very hard using Math Stations this year. Thanks to the book party last summer and TPT, I have several good resources but I have a BIG question. How do you organize your math theme, by skill, in notebooks? How do keep up with all those little cards? Thanks for any help!

    1. Hi there Jammie! I so glad you are enjoying math stations this year.

I keep most of my resources in my 4-drawer file cabinet. One drawer is filled with misc. stuff (PD workshops, evaluations...) The other three are broken down by months. I file my paper resources in there. There is room to also put my cards in back behind the hanging files. I mostly keep my cards in the frosting cans. But for some, I just put them in a Ziplock bag and paperclip the response page to it.

I also have tubs that go on top of my cabinets. They are divided by months (Jan/Feb). I keep my books and other items that are not file cabinet friendly in there. I was able to get 5 matching tubs the go with my classroom decor, so I don't feel like they are too ugly...LOL!!!

      I hope that helps.
