Howdy! Happy Sunday!
Here are my planned stations for this upcoming week. You will notice that I have kept some of my stations the same... and added a few more.
Click on any page and it should take you to my Google Docs. I think I embedded the hyperlinks correctly.
I got one of these Big Daddys
And I am trying to make the conversion from PC to MAC. Send your prayers PLEASE!
I will check back in with you all mid-next week to let you know how they went and if I needed to make any adjustments.
Enjoy your week!!!

Thanks for the literacy stations. I have one of those big daddy's and love it. It is hard to remember MAC at school and PC at home. Have a great week and thanks for sharing! I start tomorrow with 1/2 of my class all day so I can't wait!!

I would highlight what you want to link and then go into the link button and click on it and paste the link. Does that make sense?

Deedee- WOW! Looks great! I *love* that you have a fine motor center. I am going to try implementing one this year.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your students have a busy, fun week ahead! : )

Your stations look like they are really coming together!I too plan on a variety of fine motor activities. I have lots of little boys this year!

ReplyDeleteRemember with a mac EVERYTHING is easier. People who have used PCs tend to overthink. Any specific questions I would be glad to help!

Oh... Kathy....I know everyone tells me that. They also say it is intuitive. I don't think this day has said much for my intuition.... LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to give it a little time, but I'm saving my receipt!
So my specific question... How long will it take you to drive to Missouri? I just made a chocolate cake for my boys???
Deedee,
ReplyDeleteI love that you are using my stuff! Now let's see if the kids enjoy it too (hehe). This looks amazing and so organized. I miss talking to you.
Have a great week.
Guess what- I am launching a new graphic artist with "teacher friendly" conditions. I am so excited! You will love her work.
Deedee, You will love the Mac! It does take a little getting used to, but you'll get it! (And you'll never want to go back to a PC!) I made the change a year or so ago. If you need any help, just ask!

Oh Karen... I am such a quitter! I boxed Big Daddy up a few days ago and returned it to the Geek Squad. I ordered a new Dell instead.
ReplyDeleteI feel a little defeated, but I just don't have the time (right now) to get over the learning curve. I do want to give it a try at another time, but I just didn't feel like now was the right time.
I hang my head in shame!

ReplyDeleteHI Deedee,
ReplyDeleteI know this is a year late, but I'm two weeks into kindergarten and trying to get centers working. I have 24 VERY talkative sweeties with short attention spans, and throw in a few kids being referred to SPED that are having trouble with no EA's and it all boils down to a big mess! SO I love your rotation with smaller groups-I was trying to do groups of 6 and it failed...too many kiddos with not enough space. ANyway, I think this will work, but I wonder how you introduce all of these stations and still have time to get to them? Thank you for everything you do, this is an amazing resource!!
