I had a few teachers from another school district visit and observe my class today. They were interested in my overhead station, so I thought I would share how we are using it right now.
| I put our sight/popcorn words on a word ring. Then add magnetic letters to a container. This is an empty Crystal Light container (perfect size). |
| Partners take turns shining the words on the white board, then tracing the letters. They LOVE this! |
| Finally they write the words. "My mom went to the grocery store." Nicely done Miss D! |

How are you using your overhead projector?
LOVEEE the overhead response sheet. I've been doing an overhead station for 2 years now and have never had the students record anything...simply read the words to their partners. This will be most helpful and make the station last a bit longer! Thanks for sharing :)

Love the idea!! I have an overhead station also! The kids love it. I also save my extra laminate film and cut it into small pieces to save it for the kids to write their sight words, friends names, numbers, alphabet, shapes....etc
